Head of the Maritime Economy Division, director of Centre for the Maritime Economics Studies at the University of Gdańsk, employed since 2002. Here he obtained further degrees: a doctorate in 2007, and then in 2019 a post-doctoral degree (habilitation) in social sciences, in the field of economics and finance. He specializes in shipping and port economics, intermodal transport, offshore wind economics and operation. He is the author and co-author of several books and research papers mainly in maritime economy field. Project manager in several programmes: 7th FP, Horizon 2020, Horizon Europe, Interreg BSR. Member of IAME and PTE.
