Lech Paszkowski, holding a degree in civil engineering with a specialization in structural and construction engineering, is a graduate of the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Gdańsk University of Technology. His professional career began with roles in international consulting and engineering corporations such as Bilfinger Tebodin and Mott MacDonald, where he worked his way up from designer, to project manager, to head of the design office.
In 2020, he took up the position of Director of the Development and Investment Department in the Management Board of Port of Gdańsk Authority SA (PGA), where he managed a team of around 30 people, dealing with the development and investment of PGA’s own and contractors’ projects, as well as environmental issues. His activities focused on the modernisation, reconstruction and construction of new port infrastructure, including access and hydrotechnical infrastructure.
He currently holds the position of Port Development Director at the Baltic Hub, where he is responsible for managing development projects from the conception through planning and permitting to the implementation of infrastructure projects within the Baltic Hub Container Terminal. The main project he is currently in charge of is the construction of the T5 terminal, crucial for the handling of offshore wind projects.
